COVID-19 Mobile Vaccination or Testing Event Program

This program was created with the goal to ensure that all community members have an opportunity to receive COVID-19 services and resources. Collaborate with us to host a mobile vaccination or testing event in your community.

The Department of Public Health partners with community-based organizations to host events that provide COVID-19 services. The County is incredibly grateful to all of the skilled community based organizations dedicated to health of their communities. Therefore, to support their endeavors to build healthier communities, the Department of Public Health partners with community based organizations throughout the County to be the provider of COVID-19 resources for their community events.
Many events at health fairs, city parks, churches, recreation centers and other community gathering places continue to be successful in San Bernardino County.

The Department of Public Health partners with senior and community centers to provide COVID-19 services to the 65+ population. Senior focused events allow for our 65+ community member to receive care tailored to their specific needs.
These events offer seniors the opportunity to convenient access to COVID-19 resources in a familiar location, where they feel safe and cared for. The Department of Public Health staff at each event communicate with care and provide information respectfully. Accommodations are also available for individuals with mobility impairments.

The Department of Public Health partners with various schools and school districts to host events that provide COVID-19 services to community members, students, and families.
These events offer families the opportunity to access vital vaccination resources closer to home, within their school districts and at a location that is reliable.
The Department of Public Health provides accommodations for these mobile events to promote a family friendly atmosphere. Mobile events at schools are equipped with toys and colorful bandages to ensure the comfortability of younger populations being vaccinated.

Request a COVID-19 Health Ambassador Team (Health Education)
COVID-19 Health Ambassadors are a team of trained public health professionals who specialize in COVID prevention, resources related to COVID, and vaccine awareness. Request a COVID-19 health education table at an upcoming community event or an educational presentation. General Questions

Mobile is used to describe the County teams that travel across San Bernardino County. All of the events are walk-up events and not drive-thru.

This document is the agreement for the County team to utilize your facility and provides a summary of the County’s liability coverage.

Typically, one location will host a vaccination event OR a testing event and not both at the same time due to infection precautions. The County can schedule multiple events based on availability.

The County team will provide all medical supplies needed, clinical staff, signs to direct the public to the event, tables and chairs. The facility will need to provide access to restrooms, a large space for the clinic, a separate break area, access to power, and sufficient lighting.

DPH representative will visit the facility to determine the best layout for the event and ensure that all requirements are met.

Once the Facility Use Agreement is signed, the DPH County representative assisting you will let you know that your event is confirmed

About 10 days prior to your event, a digital flyer will be provided by a DPH representative for print and promotion. We highly encourage that promotion occur across all channels and platforms.

Typically appointments are available the Thursday prior to the event.

This program offers pop-up events that can be recurrent based on availability.

The County offers community events open to the public and can collaborate with you to host a public event. For private events, you can be put on a waitlist to be matched with a provider. Request your event here.

It is best to have an alternate indoor location in the case of bad weather the day of the event. If no indoor space is available, outdoor events may be canceled due to severe weather conditions.

Any Medical waste that may accumulate during your event will be disposed of properly by the County team at our facility.

Vaccination Events

We are currently offering Pfizer for ages 5 and up (Pfizer Booster for ages 12 and up) at all Mobile vaccination events.

COVID-19 vaccines are available to people 5 and older who live and work in San Bernardino County.

This event is a walk-up testing event. We currently do not offer drive-thru event. However, if a person is unable to walk up to the clinic, a team member will be able to we offer vaccinations in parked cars.

Testing Events

We are currently offering PCR COVID-19 tests and Antigen test (while supplies last.)

It takes about 24 – 48 hours for a patient that visits our mobile testing sites to receive their results

This event is a walk-up testing event. We currently do not offer drive-thru event. However, if a person is unable to walk up to the clinic, a team member will be able to we offer vaccinations in parked cars.
